a.We are intending to outreach for all the existing Jewish organizations and institutes and get them involved in our project. The project offers new approaches, challenges to the well-established institutions to make their voice and message heard.

b.We are intending to bring a fresh tone to the discourse on Israel and Judaism, with the means of interesting and authentic programming and to cater for the Jewish audience as well as the non-Jewish listeners.

The project is unique in its scale as there was no previous attempt to involve such number of institutions. Also, there has never been in-depth reliable coverage of events and general issues in Israel. We plan to deliver our two-fold objective in the course of a broadcast timetable that will contain the following:

A. Broadcasts by Jewish organizations.

Each and every institute is given opportunity to produce broadcasted materials on their own account / tentative time limit: 1 hour per week/ the contact persons of each institute keeps in touch with the administrative base and responsible for smooth communication.

The chance is given to religious institutes, schools, clubs and newspapers, magazines of the Hungarian Jewish community to join in. According to our initiation all Jewish organizations should participate in the project and get free on-air time. The presently running broadcasts are of the Chabad Lubavitch Association, of Esztertaska Fund of Jewish Feminists, of Szombat, Jewish Journal and of the Lauder Jewish Community School. The rest of the institutions has shown interest in the project, but so far not taken part in it.

B. Broadcasts produced by Radio ZS

Radio ZS will produce its own broadcast, (including daily news coverage, weekly magazines on themes of current issues in Israel, hot Israeli culture, culinary review, historical issues, archive recordings, weekly torah portion, etc)

a. A staff of the cultural division is processing the sources of the lives of more than 400 significant figures of Hungarian Jewry, working on an archive database and complying broadcasts on literature. They are also producing interviews, summaries, highlighting cultural events and talking on issues of contemporary Jewish life in Hungary.

b. A staff of historians produces a series on the history of Hungarian Jews, based on primarily sources, with a popular, interactive approach in cooperation with the staff of the cultural section.

c. An Israel based staff broadcasts coverage from Jerusalem and Eilat on a weekly (from January daily) basis.
